- Do you have a new baby?
- Are you feeling different than you thought you would?
- Do you want help from another mom?
Bringing home a new baby can be exciting and wonderful, but it can also add stress to you and your family. You may be sleep-deprived or feeling overwhelmed sometimes. You may be anxious, even depressed. And, you may be far away from family or they simply may not be available to you.
Families First of Rhode Island can help.
The heart of the Families First program is a group of dedicated volunteers. You will be matched with an experienced and compassionate mother who will come to your home weekly -- to help you through this challenging stage in your life. During her visits you can talk confidentially about concerns and questions you may have...or take a walk with the baby, or do a chore out of the home. She can help you.
All volunteers are carefully screened and trained.
All services are FREE.
