We encourage you to schedule a 30-week visit to our Women's Health Center. The visit for you and your partner helps you take care of hospital paperwork and learn general information before you come in to have your baby.
At your 30-week visit, you:
- Visit our hospital admitting department and fill out pre-delivery paperwork
- May have the opportunity to discuss any financial concerns
- Learn how our hospital protects you and your baby
- Tour our Women's Health Center facilities
- Receive a packet of information on
- infant healthcare providers
- pain management during labor
- the importance of skin-to-skin contact with your newborn
- health screenings your baby will have while in the hospital
- birth announcement forms for the local newspaper
- Social Security numbers (how to get one for your baby)
- car seat informatin
- child identification to keep your baby safe
- birth certificate worksheet
