Hospital Hosts
Thanksgiving Meal for Clients of Local Community Service Agencies
The Westerly
Hospital hosted a free
Thanksgiving Meal for over 100 clients of local community service
agencies including the Westerly W.A.R.M. Shelter, the Johnycake Center,
Pawcatuck
Neighborhood Center, and Wood River Health
Services.
The meal was be prepared by the Westerly Hospital
Food and Nutrition staff and served by over 50 employees and volunteers
of Westerly Hospital. The food, beverages, and other materials for the
meal were generously donated by Roch’s Produce, Caradonna Foods,
H.P.C. Food Service, and Sysco Food Service. Chairs will be provided by Liberty
Rental.
The event was held on Tuesday, November 20 in the
Hospital’s Henry
J. Nardone
Conference Center.
