Hospital expands
Diagnostic Imaging Services
at new location

The Westerly
Hospital will be expanding its
Diagnostic Imaging services to the former Shoreline
Medical Imaging location on 116
Granite Street Center in Westerly. The new facility will open as The Westerly Hospital
Imaging Center on March 31, 2008, and will be open Monday through Friday,
9:00am to 5:30pm.
Said
Dale Porter, Director of Diagnostic Imaging at The Westerly Hospital,
“the expansion of our diagnostic imaging services at the Westerly Hospital Imaging
Center will allow
us to offer more choices to both patients and
physicians, as well as better availability and choice of appointment
times.”
The Westerly Hospital Imaging
Center offers
patients a comfortable setting, with ample and convenient parking. Patients can expect the same quality of
care no matter which location they go to, including state-of-the-art
imaging equipment for MRI, CT Scan, and X-Ray. Radiologists at both locations are board-certified,
fellowship trained radiologists and are all members of Westerly Radiology
Associates, a group of specialized physicians that has served the Westerly and
surrounding community for twenty years.
Westerly Hospital
staff will now service patients at the new imaging center as well as at
the current Diagnostic
Imaging Center
located at The Westerly Hospital on Wells Street, Westerly.

may be scheduled at either the Hospital’s Wells Street imaging center by
calling 401-348-3832 or at the Granite
Street Center
location by calling 401-596-8990.
