Cafeteria

The Westerly Hospital’s cafeteria is located on the first floor of the Hospital and offers a full menu for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, seven days a week. For breakfast, a full buffet breakfast is offered along with a fresh fruit bar. Lunch and dinner options include soup, hot entrees, salad bar, pre-made salads, and sandwiches. The cafeteria dining room also has self-serve vending machines offering sandwiches, fresh fruit, microwaveable meals, and beverages. Microwaves are located in the dining room as well.

Saturday and Sunday:
Breakfast: 7am – 10:30am

Gift Shop

The Westerly Hospital Gift Shop is owned by The Westerly Hospital Auxiliary and staffed by Hospital volunteers. The Gift Shop is located just off the lobby and offers a wide assortment of products including candy, jewelry toiletries, magazines, flowers, cards, and many unique gift items. The gift shop is open Monday through Friday from 9am – 6pm, Saturday, from 10am – 4pm and Sunday, from 1pm – 4pm.

Chapel and Clergy Services

The Westerly Hospital’s nonsectarian Chapel is located on the first floor of the Hospital and is open twenty-four hours a day for family, friends, and patients. In addition, through our chaplaincy services program, members of the clergy are on-call twenty-four hours a day for familes, friends and patients dealing with serious illness. Your nurse or one of the chaplaincy volunteers can arrange for a visit by a clergy member of a particular denomination, or by your own minister, priest, or rabbi.

Visitor Policy

The Westerly Hospital does not have visiting hours because we do not consider family and friends as visitors. They are vital members of the healthcare team in our patient and family centered partnership. We try very hard to base visits around patient and family needs. We recognize that visits by family and friends are an important part of a patient’s recovery.

• Friends or family members who are ill should not visit.
• Please keep in mind that visits may be interrupted if the patient needs to leave the room for treatment, x-rays, or other tests.
• If the patient is being treated in their room, visitors may be asked to step out at the patient’s request.

Coffee and Sandwich Shop

Honey Dew Donut Shop, located just off the lobby, serves light meals, snacks, and beverages from 5:30am – 8pm, seven days a week.
