Hospice Care

When your loved one needs kind, attentive hospice care, count on Westerly Hospital’s four private inpatient hospice suites. Funded by the Alfred M. Roberts Jr. Charitable Foundation and operated in partnership with Home & Hospice Care of Rhode Island, they are available to any patient in need of inpatient hospice care.

Located on the medical surgical floors of the Hospital, both suites are designed for the comfort and privacy of your loved one and family. Each room has a private bath, a flat screen TV, a sleeper sofa, refrigerator, DVD player, new flooring, wallpaper and furniture to enhance the home-like environment.

In addition, a new Family Room, located a short distance away on the same floor, provides quiet respite for visiting family and friends. Underwritten by the Robert Bonner Family, it includes Internet access, television and comfortable furniture, and allows you to relax while still being close to your loved one.
