The Westerly Hospital’s StrongWomen program is a supervised, moderate-intensity exercise program for women, mid-life and older. This safe, simple, fun and effective six-week program helps improve muscle strength, balance, and bone density.

The program also includes general nutrition information for bone loss prevention and general well-being.

Hospital staff, from cardiac rehabilitation and physical therapy, are specially trained as StrongWomen Program Leaders to ensure that you get a safe and effective exercise program.

Classes meet for one hour, two times per week. Cost is $48 per six-week session.
