Overview

For more than 90 years, Westerly Hospital has been providing residents of southern Rhode Island and southeastern Connecticut with a full range of inpatient and outpatient services in a community hospital setting. Patients receive the finest quality treatment in the following areas of care: emergency, medical, surgical, radiology, laboratory and rehabilitative services. In addition, the hospital offers interventional pain management, wound care, an anti-coagulation clinic and cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation services. All inpatient rooms are private. 

Westerly Hospital is a key economic driver in the region, employing more than 600 full and part-time clinical, professional, technical and support staff. The hospital also has more than 200 volunteers who provide vital functions in numerous departments.

Cafeteria

Westerly Hospital’s cafeteria is located on the first floor of the Hospital and offers a full menu for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, seven days a week. For breakfast, a full buffet breakfast is offered along with a fresh fruit bar. Lunch and dinner options include soup, hot entrees, salad bar, deli bar, pre-made salads, pizza, hot pretzels, and sandwiches.

Hours of Operation

The Westerly Hospital cafeteria is open from 7 am until 7 pm seven days a week.

Breakfast 7 am – 10:30 am seven days a week
Lunch 11:45 am – 1:30 pm Monday through Friday
Noon – 1:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday
Dinner 5 pm – 6:40 pm seven days a week

Vending machines are in the Emergency Room waiting area and in the hallway across from the cafeteria.

Gift Shop

Westerly Hospital’s Gift Shop is owned by the Westerly Hospital Auxiliary and staffed by Hospital volunteers. The Gift Shop is located just off the lobby and offers a wide assortment of products including snacks, beverages, candy, jewelry, toiletries, magazines, plants, cards, and many unique gift items. The gift shop is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Chapel

The non-denominational chapel on the first floor is always open for family and your friends. We encourage the use of this quiet and beautiful chapel to bring peace and relief. Feel free to sign our prayer book or just sit a while.

Mail & Flowers

Mail and flowers are delivered to patients every day by our hospital volunteers. Mail received a patient’s discharge will be forwarded to their home address. Please have mail addressed to a patient as follows:
