Orthopedic surgeon joins Westerly Hospital medical staff, accepting new patients

WESTERLY, RI, January 25, 2018 - Orthopedic surgeon Brad E. Green, DO, has joined Westerly Hospital’s medical staff and is accepting new patients in the community.

Dr. Green is an assistant professor of clinical Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation at Yale School of Medicine. Dr. Green joins Stephen Gross, MD, at a new Center for Musculoskeletal Care office location at the Northeast Medical Group offices at 45 Wells Street, Westerly. The new location will be part of the Yale New Haven Health’s Center for Musculoskeletal Care (CMC), which provides a holistic approach to the diagnosis and treatment of conditions affecting the muscles, joints, bones and nervous system.

Dr. Green is board-certified in orthopedic surgery, received his medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency at the Osteopathic Hospital of Maine in Portland. He performed rotations in total joint surgery and hand surgery at the New England Baptist Hospital in Boston.

His specialties include total joint replacement, arthroscopic minimally-invasive knee and shoulder surgery, and hand and foot surgery.
