Westerly Hospital Auxiliary’s 33rd Annual Lights of Love Campaign and Ceremony

WESTERLY, RI, November 13, 2017– The Westerly Hospital Auxiliary has officially kicked off its 33rd annual Lights of Love campaign which invites the community to honor or remember a loved one by purchasing a “Love Light” in their name in denominations of $5, $25, $50, $100, or more. The Love Lights that are purchased will decorate an evergreen tree located in the hospital’s courtyard in the rear of main lobby. Names of those being remembered and honored as part of this year’s campaign will on display in the main lobby.

This year’s Celebration of the Lights of Love reception will be held on Thursday, November 30 at 6:00 pm in the hospital’s main lobby area and will include a special performance by the Chariho High School Women’s Choral Group.

Lights of Love donation envelopes are available at the Information Desk located in the main lobby.

Founded in 1926, The Westerly Hospital Auxiliary serves Westerly Hospital and its patients by providing material assistance beyond the scope of the Hospital budget through various fundraising activities held throughout the year. The Auxiliary also sponsors special events, educational lectures, a scholarship program, and community relations activities and oversees the Hospital’s Gift Shop which is staffed by volunteers.
