New Knowledge Innovations Improvements

Using evidence based findings the Graduate Nurse Fellowship Program candidates design a project to improve patient outcomes. They are encouraged to implement in collaboration with the Professional Development Staff and the Leadership Team of the Medical-Surgical Care Unit during their orientation. These projects will improve quality and safety of the patient, improve nurse sensitive and patient outcome indicators by integrating evidence based finding into practice. These initiatives are to improve patient care and consistently of communication across the healthcare continuum.

Success Pays is an innovative program that ANCC (American Nurse Credentialing Center) has developed and offers hospitals a way for RN’s to become certified in their area of expertise.
